Following their mantra of “Style and Sustainability,” this “green” source is as chic as it is environmentally responsible. The airy showroom offers furniture produced from certified forests as well as fully organic upholstery and fabrics. Co-owner and prominent designer Laura Walker handpicks the accessories, which are mostly antiques or natural artifacts transformed into art objects. There is also an extensive collection of handwoven Tibetan carpets assembled by the other co-owners, Paul Baird and Kent Schneider, veterans of Rugs by Robinson.

Their own manufacturing sources keep prices reasonable on cottage-style reproductions such as French country chairs for less than $250 and armoires for under $1,000. All pieces are hand-finished. The store also carries mahogany tables and seagrass furniture, and accessories such as lamps, bedding, Blenko glassware, and pieces by local artists. The new location includes a “Little Black Dress Room” with black and white clothing and jewelry.
